Sunday, May 15, 2011, Kim Boekbinder and Corpus Callosum played at Amnesia. I have photographic evidence.
Corpus Callosum played first. Dax Tran-Caffee opened the set with his moving painting.
They played songs about love, Chicago, a lullaby, and a philosopher’s robot daughter.
A mermaid played a few songs while sitting on the bar.
Kim Boekbinder is sparkly. She played a bunch of songs from her album, The Impossible Girl.
She ended her set with a singalong pirate song which involved people tossing things like a boot and a shirt to her feet. No one took off their pants, even though she asked very nicely.
